President's Week Clinics

Our Annual President's Week Clinic will run from February 20 - 23 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  The clinic offers instruction in all aspects of baseball and softball.  Age specific training will teach both basic and advanced skills in hitting, fielding, pitching and baserunning. 

Players will have access to our 'State of the Art' 7,000 sq. foot training facility.  We have professional turf flooring, indoor batting cages, pitching machines and pitching mounds.

No other activity will take place in the facility during your child's clinic!

This clinic will improve your child's skills - guaranteed!  It's a perfect time to get ready for the upcoming spring season!  Spring training is only a few weeks away - get ready now!

We are celebrating our 20 Year Anniversary this Summer!  Nobody has been teaching baseball in Bergen County longer or better than Spartans Sports.

Hitting

The hardest thing to do in all of sports!  We teach a systematic approach to hitting.  In addition to physical mechanics, we also work with players on pitch selection and game situations.  Rotational hitting mechanics will be taught to all players which will increase their contact rate, power as well as batting average!

Pitching

Throw strikes, change speeds and location is what each player will learn.  Pitching mechanics will be taught in an effort to prevent injuries from improper throwing mechanics.  Once their mechanics are set, they will see an increase in command and control of their pitches which will lead to increased velocity while minimizing injury. 

Fielding

The hardest position to play is Shortstop!  If you can play shortstop, you can play anywhere on the field.  We will each each player to proper mechanics of charging a ball, keeping soft hands, backhands, tagging, and throwing. Our professional staff of infielders will teach your child how to play all positions on the field.

Baserunning

You don't have to be fast to be a great baserunner.  Anticipation, knowledge, proper footwork can make the slowest person seem fast in baseball.  We will teach kids proper leads, steals, sliding etc.

The Spartans Sports Factory is located at 90 Herbert Ave. in Closter, NJ.  It's our new private, climate controlled, state of the art facility that offers batting tunnels, fielding areas and professional turf.
